Remember the last time I was disappointed?
Well, this time, Jamie Foxx's new video for 'Blame It' makes me mad in very specific ways.
1. Foxx gets all these quality actors and the storyline consists of "drinking, dancing, sitting, being aloof." Fail.
2. My cones are screwed up in a way that I don't think they'll recover from.
3. If you're going to go with the red light effect, then you HAVE to have the people in the video drinking Red Death:
- Ingredients:
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Southern Comfort
- 1 oz Amaretto
- 1/2 oz Sloe gin
- 1/2 oz Triple sec
- Fill with Orange juice
- 1 dash Lime juice
Mixing instructions:
Add all ingredients, Stir and serve over ice.
Red Death IS the best mixed drink ever produced and a properly made one should not taste like alcamahol one bit. It's delicious. 4. What happened to Foxx trying to be the next Luther? That stop when album sales didn't happen? Everyone knows it's the guest appearances and featurings that make the money. Just jump on the next Jeezy track and do the ooh-wop-wop thing for 8 bars and wait for the money to roll in. This seems almost too easy. 5. Throwing money in rap videos is a cliche. Slow motion in rap videos is a cliche. Wearing sunglasses indoors is not a cliche, but it is silly. Having T-Pain in your video is a cliche. ... I hate the way this makes me feel/rant.
