Ugly Muggers

Went to DC last Friday for a gig at the Ugly Mug in DC. It's a very chill bar, full of chill people. The owner Pete is a cool dude, and shout outs to Sammy the bouncer for helping me keep sane while the dinner hours rolled by. The fact that it doesn't get dark until after 8 made it tough to play some of the more heavy metal that people were requesting but it all worked out. Definitely not my normal scene but it was full of stand-up individuals who just wanted some good headbanging music. Next time, more Alice in Chains and Zeppelin.

Twins Birthday

At the last minute, I got a call from Rick who needed someone for his wife and sister-in-law's 40th 27th Birthday party in Bowie.  I didn't take a survey, but everyone seemed to have a good time.  Playlist was mostly disco and 80's music with a little bit of the more up-beat recent stuff. Digital camera is still M.I.A. so we're going to have to depend on the generosity of others for any pictures.

Halloween Party

First event since the site launch. House party for a friend. Still trying to get some pictures, but a flyer will have to do for now.
